Economic Census
The Economic Census is the official five-year measure of American businesses providing comprehensive statistics at the national, state, and local levels. It serves as the benchmark for current economic activity, such as the Gross Domestic Product and Producer Price Index.
If you received an invitation to complete the Economic Census, responses were due by March 15th. Businesses that require additional time to respond should log in to portal.census.gov to access their account and request a time extension. Response is required by law.
Note:
If you have not received an authentication code for the Economic Census, you do not need to respond.
