Census Business Builder Version 5.1

Press Release Number CB23-TPS.35

MARCH 30, 2023 — The U.S. Census Bureau today released version 5.1 of the Census Business Builder tool. These updates will improve the users' experience with the tool, and will feature the following enhancements:

  • Increased Section 508 compliance, including screen reader compatibility for all relevant components and high-contrast mode to improve map visibility.
  • Mobile optimization across all devices and tablets, including a mobile-friendly version of the tour and reports.
  • Stacked map variables.
  • Updated help menu.
  • Geosearch and Zoom buttons.
