JULY 24, 2018 — Residents have until July 31 to respond to the 2018 Census Test taking place in Providence County, R.I.
The 2018 Census Test is a critical part of preparations for the nation’s upcoming 2020 Census. The test will help the Census Bureau validate its readiness for 2020 Census operations, procedures, systems and field infrastructure for the once-a-decade census.
In addition to the internet, households may respond by telephone and traditional paper questionnaire. Telephone questionnaire assistance is available in English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic and Russian.
The Census Bureau is committed to making the mandatory once-a-decade headcount quick, easy and secure for all residents.
