Due to expected inclement weather in the Washington metropolitan area, the U.S. Census Bureau has rescheduled its quarterly 2020 Census Program Management Review to Jan. 29, 2016, from 1 to 4 p.m. The meeting will focus on operational and systems readiness for the 2020 Census and will provide an update on decennial operations. Note: This review was originally scheduled for Jan. 22.
This review follows the release of the 2020 Census Operational Plan that outlines key operations, the decisions made based on research and testing to date and a timeline for remaining decisions. Through the smart use of technology and existing data sources, the 2020 Census can provide substantial taxpayer savings while maintaining a commitment to quality, accuracy and confidentiality.
In order to provide wider access to this event and share information about 2020 Census planning with the public, the Census Bureau will broadcast the review live on <//www.census.gov/newsroom/census-live.html>.
