MAY 6, 2016 — The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring approximately 150 temporary field representatives and supervisor positions for its Address Canvassing Test in St. Louis that starts Oct. 3, 2016.
The purpose of the test is to use new field methodologies and data sources to better detect and identify changes to local housing locations since the 2010 Census.
Positions will be available from August through December 2016, with most jobs lasting between four to five weeks. Pay for the office and field staff range from $12.34 to $19.21 per hour. Qualified local residents may apply now through June 2016 for any of the temporary part-time positions, with priority given to those who live in St. Louis.
