MAY 2, 2016 — The last day for residents in Harris County, Texas, to complete the 2016 Census Test online is fast approaching. Residents can answer the brief questionnaire at www.census.gov/2016censustest. Households that do not complete the questionnaire by May 12 may receive a visit from a census taker to complete the form.
Almost 225,000 households in Harris County received a mailed notification from the U.S. Census Bureau asking them to complete the questionnaire. The 2016 Census Test is refining new methods and technologies under consideration for the 2020 Census.
Harris County residents may respond to the test in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Chinese and Korean by internet, telephone or mail. Additionally, for those who need help completing the form, telephone assistance is available in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic and French.
Respondents in the following ZIP codes have received a notification from the Census Bureau:
77024, 77036, 77040, 77041, 77042, 77043, 77055, 77056, 77057, 77063, 77077, 77079, 77080, 77082 and 77092.
