Matthew Graham is chief of the Quality Assurance Branch of the Longitudinal-Employer-Household Dynamics Program in the Center for Economic Studies and has worked in the program for more than 10 years. During this time, he helped develop the OnTheMap application, a winner in 2010 of U.S. Department of Commerce’s Gold Medal Award for scientific/engineering achievement. He received his master's degree in urban planning from UCLA and holds degrees in physics and mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also taught physics in the East African country of Tanzania as a Peace Corps volunteer
