What You Can Expect to Learn
Starting Wednesday, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its annual reports on income, poverty and health insurance coverage.
Watch the videos below to hear experts’ overview of some of the following releases.
On Wednesday:
- Income, poverty and health insurance coverage for the nation for calendar year 2017.
- Poverty estimates using the Supplemental Poverty Measure for the nation and states.
- Health insurance coverage report includes state-level 2017 statistics from the American Community Survey, including a map and trends between 2013 and 2017.
On Thursday:
- Detailed statistics on numerous demographic, social, economic and housing characteristics will be available for geographic areas with populations of 65,000 or more.
Topics include language spoken at home, educational attainment, commute to work, employment, mortgage status and rent, as well as income, poverty and health insurance coverage.
