1970 Census of Population, Subject Reports: Persons in Institutions and Other Group Quarters

Report Number PC(2)-4E

This report presents detailed statistics for the United States on the characteristics of the population under care or custody in institutions and on the characteristics of the noninstitutional population residing in group quarters. The statistics are based on the 1970 Census of Population.

The text consists of an introduction and Appendices A through E, which appear after the tables.
