County Business Patterns: 1986

This series includes the number of establishments, employment during the week of March 12, first quarter payroll, and annual payroll. CBP datasets are downloadable files in comma-separated value (CSV) format. In addition, corresponding record layouts and reference files are available.

Data User Notice posted on April 26, 2019: In April 2019, Census Bureau staff identified a typographical error in the SIC sector code, within the datasets, for manufacturing. It was incorrectly coded to "19--", it has been updated to the correct sector code of "20--".
