Description
The Annual Business Survey (ABS) is an exciting new joint project between the Census Bureau & the National Science Foundation’s National Center for Science & Engineering Statistics. The ABS will replace three existing surveys: the 5-year Survey of Business Owners (the SBO) for employer businesses, the Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs (ASE), and the Business R&D and Innovation Survey for Microbusinesses. The ABS will produce data products similar to the surveys it absorbs, including demographic data on business owners.
