Aug 24, 2016 — The U.S. Census Bureau has awarded the 2020 Census Integrated Communications Contract to Young & Rubicam (Y&R). To respect the integrity of the award debrief and protest stages of the federal procurement process and the laws that govern it we will not comment on the award until the protest period has ended. Oct 15, 2014 — The Census Bureau is planning to award a contract to design, plan, produce, integrate, and implement an integrated communications program for the 2020 Census. The contractor will be responsible for providing services in multiple communications areas to support building awareness and promoting self-response for the 2020 Census. The solicitation process is anticipated to begin in mid-December. The tentative schedule for the 2020 Census Integrated Communications Contract is posted below.

It is the Census Bureau's intent to use full and open competition for this procurement. The agency will post the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and the final RFP on the FedBizOpps website and the Business Opportunities website according to this tentative schedule.
