At Federal Statistical Research Data Centers (FSRDCs), researchers use restricted-access microdata to address important research questions.  An Excel spreadsheet containing metadata about active and completed projects, including project title, abstract, FSRDC location, principal investigator, year project started, researchers, and datasets requested in project proposals is available for download below. 

Currently metadata is only provided for projects that are managed by the Census Bureau, either alone or in partnership with other statistical agencies.  Project information will be updated quarterly.  Previous versions are available on the Census Bureau’s Github site.

We are also posting for download on this site a list of research outputs (papers, articles, dissertations, etc.) produced in 2019-2022 (including earlier versions) by external research projects managed by the Census Bureau.  Currently, the list is in beta form and will be updated and improved throughout 2022. We have made every effort to maintain a complete and accurate list of research outputs, but omissions and errors may yet remain. Researchers who want to update or correct the information on this list can send an email to ADRM.CED.FSRDC.External.Research.Outputs.List@census.gov.
